Letter of recommendation for Tom MacKnight March 1, 2011

It has been a pleasure to work with Tom and to recommend him. I have known Tom for several years and had the pleasure of working with him most recently on a project with Argonne National Laboratory involving the U.S. Army at Fort McClellan. This was an assignment that required top level professionalism, and that’s what Tom provides with every project.

I can rely on Tom to be an active, thoughtful partner on assignment, which is extremely important to me as a journalist. He takes the time to thoroughly understand the goals and objectives of our work ahead of time and remains focused and attentive, helping the project stay on task.

Tom’s experience is also invaluable. He comes prepared for the unexpected things that occasionally occur and is able to adjust so that we can keep moving forward. He has a gift for seeing both the big picture and tending to the details, and gently provides helpful suggestions and feedback to ensure we are doing our best work.
